Honest, Family-Run Auto Repair for Chula Vista

For more than 40 years, Ted's Garage has been Chula Vista's neighborhood mechanic, the kind of shop where customers become family. What started as a small mom and pop operation on Third Avenue has stayed exactly that: honest, hands on, and run by people who know your car and your name.

Ted's son Glen now works alongside him, carrying the same attention to detail into every job, from routine maintenance to major repairs. Manager Mike and the team handle everything from pre-purchase inspections to smog checks, and they see each repair through to completion with quality parts, not shortcuts.

Generations of local families trust us with their vehicles, some for going on two decades. We're not the cheapest shop in town, but we are the one you can count on to do it right and treat you fairly.
